Minister's Page
Unfortunately our Del is leaving us at the end of July as she moves on to her new appointment. Delyth has been with us for 5 years now and has taken us to new heights with her talents. The many projects she has guided us through have been done with the confidence of a minister many years into their service with the church and not somebody on their first posting.
The other week we had a celebration of Delyths time with us, there were items from many different groups within Trinity, from the very youngest to our older members. (a whole wealth of talent was found!!). Every person who took part did so to show off their love for Delyth and their sadness to see her go, we hope she took the love that was shown that night forwards to her new appointment in Cadoxton. During the evening Delyth was presented with a banner from the banner group for her to take with her to remind her of us in the future.
The banner is a copy of the stained glass window at the back of the Church that Delyth would have seen every time she was at the front preaching.
Obviously with Delyth leaving us we have to be thinking forward and we welcome Rev Louise Gough to Trinity, Louise will be starting her ministry with us in September and we look forward to working with her as we continue to share Gods Love here at Trinity
Okay, I wasn't going to do this but I couldn't stop myself, we really have loved having Delyth with us for the last five years, but I have to ask myself, what would Roger do to somebody he didn't like???
