About The Church

Trinity Methodist Church is in the heart of the community, the buildings being used daily for all different kind of uses and for all ages, from the babe in arms to the elderly. (see Groups) for more details).

Sunday mornings worship is varied, our all age worships are held the first Sunday of every month with the music supplied by our own Trinity Sound.

TYC (Trinity Young Christians) meets at the same time as the morning service (10.30 am) joining the main church for the start of worship before leaving us to follow their own programme.

Every morning service is followed by coffee when the members of the congregation catch up with each others news and their concerns for each other and the community. The evening service is traditionally a time for quieter reflection.

Our Lower hall is used by different groups throughout the week. These include :-

Luncheon Club
Ladies Group
Weightwatchers
Thursday Afternoon Fellowship
Yoga
Banner Group
Newport Chorale
High Cross Ladies Group (Monthly meeting)

The hall is also used as an overflow for some of the services.

Our Upper Hall

Our upper hall is used by many varied groups during the week.
These include.....

Badminton Group
Keep Fit
Youth Club (Waiting Lists in Operation)
Short Tennis
Dance Katz
Brownies
Head Over Heels
